CM Process for Work in Development environment Login to devbox (devserver or devnode73) as yourself and update sandbox.

  1. cvs update
  2. make changes cvs add, cvs delete, etc.
  3. test changes on dev environment
  4. when finished, cvs update and test again on dev environment
  5. cvs commit

CM Process for Work in Test environment Login to devbox (devserver or devnode73) as test and update sandbox.

  1. cvs update
  2. test changes on test environment
  3. if broke, goback to dev and reproduce problem
  4. follow Dev CM procedures

The Valgrind suite of tools is compiled and installed on devserver. To take advantage of memory checking option, first compile your code with -g option and then invoke the following.

This example show how to inovoke the compare10.cgi program with memory checking.
